Prison Bible Studies

Prison work has stopped due to Covid 19, we are expecting to be able to restart at some time in the near future

Keith and Rosemary Sherwood with a team of others run a weekly conversational bible study each Monday in Bovingdon Prison. Believers from other congregations go in with us.

We go through books or sections in the bible and tend to concentrate on narratives - the gospels - Acts - Ruth - Esther etc. The readings are conversational with all taking part. Many prisoners have good bible knowledge and skills. So, we are a band of brothers studying together.

At this time we get two hours, followed by a coffee break. After a coffee break, we have open prayer and praise.

It is a blessed time of fellowship and gospel opportunity for us - we have been going for thirty two years. If you would like to join us you will need to be committed to it.

Bovingdon prison has excellent chaplains and we get wonderful support from the chaplains, governors and officers.
